• Purpose of the Event:

The purpose of this event is to simulate an English-Medium Instruction (EMI) teaching scenario through practical exercises. We have invited Dr. Keleigh M. Muzaffar from the United States and professional faculty members from our university to serve as lesson observers. The teaching simulation aims to help instructors gain insights into their preparedness for teaching in English and to gauge student reactions to the course. Additionally, the event seeks to establish effective peer observation guidelines and evaluation criteria, thereby laying a solid foundation for the development of EMI instructors in the college. To ensure participants fully understand the implementation, objectives, and expected outcomes of the EMI Teaching Simulation Exercise, we plan to hold a pre-event briefing and a post-event summary to enhance the learning effectiveness of the participating teachers.

We warmly welcome all teachers to register and participate in this event.
