National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University is hosting the “Advance HE EMI Training for Professional Academics”.This program will be co-instructed by international trainers from Advance HE (the UK Higher Education Academy) and the international higher education training team at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, offering participants a balanced combination of global perspectives and practical experience in Taiwan. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate of completion from Advance HE.

【Event Information】

I. Eligibility:
Faculty members from all public and private universities and colleges in Taiwan who wish to enhance their EMI teaching strategies and pursue professional development in higher education.

II. Course Duration:
A total of 24 hours, scheduled as follows:

• June 19 (Online, synchronous)

• June 20 (Online, synchronous)

• June 26 (In-person at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Guangfu Campus)

• June 27 (Online, synchronous)

III. Course Fees:

• Standard fee: NT$29,500

• Early bird discount for external faculty: NT$28,500

• Group discount (3 or more external faculty members): NT$27,000

IV. Course Topics: The program aims to support faculty in enhancing their English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) teaching skills and strategies within their professional fields, while also equipping them with the latest theories and practices in higher education teaching.
