Call for Oral Presentation/E-poster Presentation Abstracts
I. Purpose
The Research Day event is specifically organized to enhance the research atmosphere among faculty, students, and clinical physicians within the College of Dental Medicine. The event includes conference keynote speeches, oral and poster presentations, and a student paper competition.
II. Eligibility: Researchers in dentistry-related fields from various colleges and universities.
III. Event Dates: March 12~13, 2026 (Thursday~Friday).
IV. Submission Guidelines
1. Abstract Submission:
All submitted abstracts must be written in English.
2. Oral Presentations:
(1). Presentation Date: March 12, 2026 (Thursday).
(2).Presentation Venue: College of Dental Medicine, 5F, National Research Building, Kaohsiung Medical University.
(3).Presentation Format: 12 minutes for presentation, 3 minutes for Q&A, Chinese or English language is acceptable.
(4).Student Paper Competition: Judging will be based on the participants' presentation and answers during the Q&A.
3. Poster Presentations:
(1). Presentation Format: E-poster.
(2). Presentation Date: March 13, 2026 (Friday).
(3). Presentation Venue: Kaohsiung Medical University.
(4). Poster Presentation Format:
a. Poster content must be presented in English.
b. Layout must be vertical, 57 cm wide × 102 cm high.
c. The E-poster number must be added to the upper left corner of the poster (10 cm wide × 5 cm high), and the number will be announced separately.
(5). Submission of Electronic File: The complete PDF file of the electronic poster must be submitted by February 23, 2026 (Monday).
(6).On-site Q&A: Participants presenting posters are required to engage in communication and answer questions at the poster display area (E-poster exhibition) on the day of the conference, March 13, 2026 (Friday), according to the announced schedule.
(7). Student Paper Competition (Poster): Participants must conduct the presentation and Q&A, and judging will be based on the participants' presentation and answers during the Q&A.

c. Presentation Format: 5 minutes for oral presentation, 3 minutes for Q&A, Chinese or English language is acceptable.
4. Academic Ethics Regulations:
Plagiarism, unauthorized copying, and submitting the same (or highly similar) work to multiple venues are strictly prohibited.
5. Usage Consent:
By submitting an abstract, you agree that we may use your abstract and related materials (e.g., the complete e-poster file) for conference-related purposes (e.g., website, e-poster exhibition, etc.).
V. Student Paper Competition Participation and Award Regulations
1. Participants:
Undergraduate, Master's/In-service Master's Program, and Ph.D. students in dentistry-related fields from various colleges and universities.
2. Competition Grouping and Awards:
(1) Participants may choose only one type of competition: Oral or Poster presentation.
(2) Oral presentations are divided into Clinical Group and Basic Science Group for evaluation. Poster presentations are divided into Basic Research Group, Clinical Research Group, and Clinical Case Group for evaluation.
(3) Participants must present and answer questions on March 12, 2026 (Thursday), according to the announced time (Refer to Submission Guidelines for presentation format).
(4) Winners will receive a certificate and a monetary prize.
VI. Registration
Registration Deadline: From now until January 16, 2026 (Friday).
Submitters must complete online registration before the registration deadline. The abstract (maximum 300 words) must be written in English according to the "Guidelines and Example for Abstract Preparation for the College of Dental Medicine Research Day". Registration will not be accepted if the required information is incomplete.
The organizing unit will notify submitters regarding the receipt of their submission by February 6, 2026 (Friday). If you do not receive notification, please contact the organizing unit directly. Thank you!
