This event invites Ms. Keleigh M. Muzaffar from the United States as the external classroom observation committee member. With extensive experience in peer observation and an international English teaching certification, she is well-equipped to offer professional suggestions and support for EMI teaching.

🔹For the in-person sessions, KELEIGH M. MUZAFFAR will be invited to our university as the external classroom observation committee member.

Her professional expertise includes peer classroom observation and providing faculty mentoring and matching services.

She is a certified teacher of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) in the United States.

She also holds an international English teaching certificate.

Available from July 7 to July 11, 3:00–4:00 PM, offering an additional one-hour consultation session.

Lunch will be provided during the event.

Completing one teaching simulation session fulfills the “15-minute teaching demonstration” requirement of the basic training. Completing two teaching simulation sessions fulfills the “classroom observation of one lesson” requirement of the advanced training.

Participants who complete the 8-hour basic training and the 15-minute teaching demonstration will be awarded an EMI Basic Teaching Certificate of Completion!
EMI “Basic” Teaching Certificate and Credit Allocation :
This certificate counts toward 20 points in the “Teaching Performance in English” category (Item 8: “Participation in an English-Medium Instruction project and obtaining an EMI basic teaching certificate”) in the College of Medicine’s faculty promotion and evaluation guidelines. - The “Online General Briefing” (first session) and the “Feedback and Discussion Session” (final session) are part of the EMI training program and can also be counted for promotion points (1 point each).
