  • Purpose of the Event

To enhance students’ competencies in clinical history taking, clinical diagnosis, and English medical record writing, as well as to promote interprofessional collaborative practice (IPP) and interprofessional education (IPE), the College plans to rent the English-version virtual patient cases from the V-DxM Virtual Clinical Diagnostic Training System and organize the “Oral Virtual Patient Holistic Clinical Care and English Medical Record Writing Competition.”

Faculty members and clinical dentists from the College will be invited to provide guidance during the event. Students will work in groups and participate in discussions while engaging in simulated virtual clinical scenarios. Through these simulations, students will strengthen their practical abilities in conducting medical interviews, diagnostic reasoning, and medical record documentation in English.

The competition format is designed to further enhance students’ time management and real-world clinical skills, while also helping them develop professional motivation and clarify their personal career aspirations at an early stage.

Through in-depth interaction between faculty and students from different disciplines and hands-on clinical simulation exercises, the event aims to improve students’ English communication skills and clinical decision-making abilities, while also fostering teamwork and problem-solving skills. Students are expected to gain valuable learning experiences and professional growth in realistic clinical settings.
